The Everywhere Project
This was my contribution to The Everywhere Project, a collaborative design project based on the locations in the folk song "I've Been Everywhere". The project is curated by the wonderful Adrian Walsh. I chose to represent Baraboo, a town about two hours northwest of my current home of Milwaukee. The Ringling Bros. Circus was founded there in 1884 and wintered there for 34 years until they merged with the Barnum & Bailey Show. It has been declared a National Historic Landmark Site and home to Circus World, an expansive museum of circus artifacts. I have yet to visit but hopefully this year will be the year!
Be sure to check to The Everywhere Project for regular updates! There's a stellar list of participating artists. And many thanks to Adrian for including me!

Friggin' Archaeologist
Another one for Ten Paces and Draw. This week's theme was "When I Grow Up". This was my final illustration based on a sketch by the awesome Natalie Andrewson. You can check out the rest of the illustrations right here. (I'm going to have the Indiana Jones theme song stuck in my head all weekend).
